Kintsugi 金継ぎ
We are taking reservations for ceramic repair in Kintsugi.
Kintsugi is a type of Japanese traditional repair technique for pottery.
We use the natural Urushi lacquer to join the broken parts and finish with powdered gold on the surface.
This technique is useful for preserving meaningful ceramic objects and reassessing their value with a distinctive drawing line of gold.
*Tableware and tea utensils are also available for daily use after repair with care.
*It takes approximately from 2-6 weeks to repair, and at least 3 months to fully use.
*By inquiry, please inform us the type of ceramic object, the length(cm), and send us more than one photo of the broken section.
